Som is a board certified plastic surgeon with degrees in Cybernetics and Mathematics from UCLA and advises Nobel Partners with all healthcare, pharmaceutical, and healthcare related investments.

Eliot Saeedi

Director, Private Equity

Eliot is Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of Nobel Partners.  He has invested and managed over $10 Billion of assets over his 20-yearcareer.  He currently directs the firm’s efforts in opportunistic and alternative investments throughout the United States.
Prior to Nobel Partners, Eliot worked onprivate equity acquisitions with Angelo Gordon, a manager of over $40 billionof assets.
Eliot is currently on the board of 7 portfolio companies and has a range of responsibilities with each, including Board Director, President, and Chief Operating Officer.
Eliot is currently on the board of 7portfolio companies, and is an investment committee member of Bascom Ventures.  He has a dual-bachelors degree in Entrepreneurship & Real Estate from the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s business school.  He received three masters degrees, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Southern California, with a Master of Real Estate Development, MBA, & Certificate of Financial Analysis. His philanthropic efforts include AIPAC, Derech Eretz Trust, Magbit, and he’s a board member of NDF Ambassadors.
Eliot is also the founder of The Idea Fund, a non-profit incubator dedicated to seeding, advising, and growing companies to provide under-privileged youth with opportunities to build businesses.  

Ben Naim

Managing Director

Ben Naim is the founder and CEO of BenMarc, a successful clothing brand that operated for 30 years prior to its acquisition in 2022.  Mr. Naim brings a wealth of knowledge regarding international trade and manufacturing to the Nobel Partners team.

Aly James

Director, Private Equity

As a Director, Aly works across teams to set the strategic direction for our acquisition and asset management teams. Before joining Nobel Partners, Aly worked in mergers and acquisitions before stepping into the role of COO of a New York based consulting firm.  
Her background in consumer businesses and B2C operations, as well as on the consulting side, allow her to identify operational efficiencies and provide management advisory to our east coast projects and internal teams.  Aly chairs the Women’s Business Conference Forum (WBCF) of New York City and is actively involved in charitable organizations including CVH Care and ASP Arts Collective since 2016.  

Christopher Ray

General Counsel

Chris Ray serves as General Counsel for Nobel Partners and focuses on a variety of transactional and B2B civil litigation matters. Prior to Nobel Partners he represented internationally recognized businesses, notable angel investors, startups, small businesses, and private individuals.  
Chris is a leader in complex litigation matters including as advisory co-counsel to many of Nobel’s portfolio companies.  He is a regular speaker on multiple expert panels regarding venture backed businesses and he has handled private arbitration proceedings and civil jury and bench trials in State and Federal courts. Chris has a Juris Doctor degree from Suffolk University and is a part of Nobel’s Board of Advisors.

Johnnie Jackson, Esq.

Director, Tax Counsel

Johnnie is a tax attorney with experience in international and domestic tax matters and is a Director based in the New York office of Nobel Partners.  Johnnie focuses on compliance, tax structuring, and accounting matters for all new investments, SPVs, and portfolio companies.  

Ari Rashti

Director, Real Estate

Ari joined Nobel Partners in 2021 and is currently a Director managing real estate capital markets.  Prior to Nobel Ari was a Principal at Lion focused on multifamily, land, and industrial properties.  Ari currently heads NP Solutions Fund II, a distressed asset and credit solutions strategy for Nobel Partners.
Ari has a Business Administration degree from the University of Southern California and an MBA with an emphasis on Finance & Strategy from USC’s Marshall School of Business.  

Dorsa Mehrannia

Director

Dorsa is a Director based in Nobel Partners’ Los Angeles office.  Prior to Nobel Partners she worked for a billion-dollar stealth startup and then at TenX where she acquired top talent for some of the fastest growing technology companies in the US. She is currently on the board of NP’s Talent Solutions Directive, working across all of the firm’s private equity and growth initiatives. She specializes in high-growth private equity and venture backed technology companies and focuses her efforts on talent solutions with theC-level suite and Board Executives.
Dorsa’s experience ranges from developing recruiting and HR operations within small and large organizations, designing internal processes, and acquiring top-talent to scale businesses from seed stage to IPO.

Nilu Kashanchi

After 10 exciting years of scaling and managing global teams at Thumbtack, Bird, CloudKitchens, and Plaid, Nilu knows that every great company begins with an exceptional team. Nilu specializes in building and improving processes,  headcount planning, recruiting pieces of training, diversity initiatives, and strategies for growth. Nilu has successfully hired across high-volume, niche, and executive-level roles for Tech, Business, and Corporate teams. Using her experience across hyper-growth startups, pre-IPO companies, and consulting, Nilu co-founded Ziba Talent with the desire to help teams find and retain the best talent. to keep visitors engaged.

Karen Miro

Director, Portfolio Management

As a seasoned portfolio manager and accountant, Karen has over 10 years of finance and accounting experience and joined Nobel Partners in 2017. Karen currently serves as Director of Portfolio Management, and is responsible for overseeing the accounting and financial reporting of portfolio companies. Karen also assists portfolio companies across various industries with financial planning and analysis.
Karen holds a degree in Economics and Accounting from UCLA, and is also a Certified Public Accountant.

Jay Bailey

Senior Vice President

Jay joined the Nobel Partners team as a Vice President in the fall of 2018 and was promoted to Senior Vice President within two years.  Prior to Nobel Partners, Jay worked as Director of Operations for Idea Hub, an investment firm with investments mainly in the proptech, fintech, and software space.  
As a data driven manager, Jay has extensive experience as a marketing, conversion rate optimization, and SEO specialist.  Jay has also extensively worked with the middle market lending team of Nobel Partners to provide venture debt, MRR financing, and forms of capital to companies in a broad range of industries.  

Jared Manhein

Vice President

Jared joined Nobel Partners in 2019 and focuses on investments in the mid-cap size range for the firm. Prior to joining Nobel Partners, Jared worked in investment banking, throughout the capital stack including debt and equity investments, as well as more creative financing solutions including pref equity, mezz financing, and venture debt.  He has also been an executive at, or consulted for, over 10 successful companies ranging from businesses in real estate and healthcare, as well as enterprise SaaS and software companies. Jared has also owned and run his own company while working in real estate in downtown Manhattan and earned a Masters degree in Finance from Tulane University.

Nicholas Smith

Vice President

Nick began his career in institutional investing with the Los Angeles, CA based BLC Investments in 1999, and started with Nobel Partners in 2015. He has managed projects across all real estate product types including multifamily, office, industrial, and retail from entitlement through disposition.  
Nick was promoted to management of several of Nobel Partners’ portfolio companies in 2020 including investments in SaaS, private finance, and other technology projects and he works closely with the management and executive teams of our portfolio companies.

Joshua Cohen

Vice President

Joshua Cohen is responsible for business development activities focused on identifying new acquisition opportunities. Josh is also responsible for financial due diligence and supports the structuring and execution of acquisition and divestiture transactions. As a member of the operating council for US portfolio companies, he has responsibilities related to post-acquisition monitoring and oversight of financial performance.

Michael joined Nobel Partners in 2018.Prior to NP, Michael worked as a Senior Associate at Goodman Partners in New York, NY.
He graduated summa cum laude from Lehigh University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business.

Kimberly Eddy

Associate

As a member of Nobel Partners’ M&A Operations team, Kait is responsible for performing operational and commercial due diligence on potential acquisition targets and for developing post-acquisition transition and value creation plans.
Prior to joining Nobel Partners in 2015, Kait worked at Arlington Capital Partners and Arbor Commercial Partners in Los Angeles. Kaitlynn holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from University of Nevada Reno.

Kristinne Laurent

Analyst

Kristinne holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from La Salle University and is currently pursuing a CFA designation.
Kristinne is an operations Analyst on the growth team at Nobel Partners.  Prior to joining Nobel Partners, Kristinne worked in the investment banking division at Encompass Growth Partners.  Kristinne assists portfolio companies with streamlining their business processes and optimizing operations.

Kayleb Caplan

Analyst

Kayleb Caplan is an Analyst on the portfolio management team at Nobel Partners. Kayleb evaluates potential investments by conducting due diligence, analyzing financials and performing market research.
Kayleb also works closely with the asset management team regarding Nobel’s portfolio companies.

Anna Richmond

Analyst

Anna joined Nobel Partners as an Associate in 2021. Prior to joining Nobel Partners, Anna was an Analyst in the consumer distribution division of a large import-export company.  Anna primarily works on distribution operations and business development with Allora Vino, a portfolio company of Nobel’s.  Anna holds a B.A. from Boston University.
